In a manner fit to be nothing but utter folly or pure clairvoyancy,the Barbados national coach has 'promised' the world of two upsets at next year's World Cup promising to defeat both Australia and New Zealand. Does this mean that we have already defeated Trinidad and Tobago?
I would be the first to admit that games are won or lost on the day BUT in this case..both games have already been played and the decisions known.
What has made the plight of the national team even harder and this premonition worst is the recent resignation of the islands best goal shooter in Laurel Browne, the best playmaker in goal attack Nikita Piggott and allegedly the best wing defence in Kizzy Marville.
With three of the best out of a possible twelve making such a resounding decision, will the Barbados Netball Association seek to find out the reason behind the sudden 'mass' exodus or will any hope of a discussion go untouched?
