Don't SPEAK your mind!!!

The Barbados Netball Association or it's affiliates has taken their unprofessionalism to a new low.

Word is that a member of the Opposition Barbados Labour Party has received a telephone call asking that a senior member of the Spooners Hill Netball Club be spoken to about her behaviour at the Netball Stadium.

What prompted the Board to make such a call is anyone's guess but let it be known that this call is a cowardly act and speaks volumes about the integrity or lack thereof of a group of people selected to administer and admonish anything netball.

The involvement of outsiders on matters which can be easily handled doesn't bode well either. The 2006 Disciplinary Committee of the same BNA, intimated that outside influences on anything personal of the Association is seen as an act of betrayal both to said Association and it's members.

That this Board has taken the time to try to tarnish anyone's name whether good or bad shouldn't be accepted and maybe tells the story of NON-confidence in their abilities.

Safepasses has openly voiced it's support for the President of the Barbados Netball Association and while it's understood that around a table, behind a computer, etc she only has one vote... let's hope this vote was against the parliamentarian's involvement.

What is interesting is that no one has taken the time to call the representative for St.Thomas about the behaviour of a BRC sponsored player openly castigates and vilifies members of the Board but has never been summoned to a Disciplinary meeting. Isn't this a clear case of victimisation?

If speaking your  mind is an act of intolerance, then all netballers and spectators should be MUTES.

  1. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous on so many levels!!! I am not one to get involved in this type of hearsay scenario but something is definitely wrong. I can see that if this continues the 2013 netball season will not finish and quite a few parties will be heading to the law courts.
What if everyone starting doing this....what if someone called Sir Williams and told him about the cult mentality of the Club he sponsors...how they ostracize themselves, do not get involved in any assistance for the sport, how it is their way or no way....what if someone did that?!?!. What is someone sent correspondence to INF telling them about the country's sole IUA's behaviour and her refusal to umpire top level matches because she doesn't like the club but want to umpire at regional and international levels....what if someone did that?!?! What if someone spoke about the amount of money went missing from the BNA under the leadership of a Ranger and no-one can account for it, even the money that was given to the pro netballer to go on her "job attachment"....what if someone did that?!?! What is someone spoke about the upcoming U13 and U15 schools' netball competition that will see each NSC coach pulling their weight and blatantly disadvantaging other teams so the teams they "coach" will get the glory?!?! What if someone did that?!?! What about if someone spoke about the KO queens Manager being tossed from their bench for using abusive language on the night of the KO finals....what if someone did that?!?! As far as I am concerned.....SOMEONE SHOULD!!!! Cause people seem to be picking and choosing what they report but remember all is fair in love and WAR!!!!
