To further solidify the inadequacy of this Board, the International Federation of Netball Associations ( IFNA) has recently amended some playing rules which are scheduled to be implemented in January 2012.
As yet, these amendments haven't been circulated to the member clubs which may bring further chaos and confusion to those clubs that have struggled and are still struggling with the ones being used now.
What is surprising though, is that there is an endless supply of emails from an affiliate of the Barbados Netball Association almost daily.... this being the Barbados Association of Netball Umpires ( BANU).
The BANU has found it necessary to inform it's members of anything and everything important to umpiring which shows good leadership and a sound Committee.
This therefore begs the question: Does this mean that the executive of the BANU can take over the reigns of local netball from the Board of the BNA because they ( BNA) have again failed to live up to the mandate?
OOPS!!!!! What mandate ?????
It is amazing that it seems that this Executive is non-functioning. No correspondence whatsoever has been forthcoming from this body now for months.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, instead of mending the already rickety fences, the Dictator in charge continues to antagonize the situation. Not once meeting with the senior team that represented Barbados credibly at the World Championships but instead sending a message about returning uniforms!!
From what I have gathered, the consensus is that the uniforms will be returned when the extravagant gas allowance and accommodation costs (here & in JA) are returned also. Enough said!!!!
