Club or country ?

When the six former national netballers from the 2009 double-crown champions declined the invitations for national trials which were extended by the new head coach, did they think that the trials nothing would happen?

For whatever reason the non-acceptance of the invitations are I do not know and honestly, I don't care. What appears to me is SOLIDARITY of their own which is ALWAYS evident when things don't go their way.

This time around that show of solidarity is almost a deja-vu of several years ago when members chosen to represent BARBADOS opted off the NATIONAL team in support of their club coach who is also.............................INTERESTING HUH ??

Apparently not only have the players decided that the newly APPOINTED head coach isn't good enough to coach them, but one former ( IS SHE ??) member who is ironically VP of the BNA seems ADAMANT that she too disapproves of the coach being CHOSEN !

Isn't it a privilege to be named as a trialist for any national team?

In refusing that invitation are we finally told that it was club more than country all the time? Coincidentally the club's uniform has the same colours .

  1. Agreed and those players should never be given the opportunity to represent Barbados again. Or better yet call them to trials and drop them at selections. What a dysfunctional bunch of assholes.

  2. Does this group include 2 players, who were berated and publicly begged to "resign" a couple of months ago? And another who did absolutely nothing in the Scotland/England series??? Surely not..in any case is it still optional to accept any invitation given? Or is this only for a select few?
Come on...leave them out..let's look ahead..Barbados netball is about to take off..we are trying new things..people...positions...
